A new film by Damien Chazelle at Christmas 2021 »Le Blog d'Ecran Noir
Babylon, Damien Chazelle's new film (Whiplash, La La Land, First Man), will be released by Paramount on December 25, 2021 in a few North American theaters before a more global release in January 2022.
Babylon would take place in Hollywood in the late 1920s, between silent cinema and talking cinema, mixing real and fictional characters, according to Variety. The cast could be five stars.
We will still find Chazelle before this distant Christmas 2021, but on the screens of Netflix (again ?!) with his series The Eddy. In the credits, we will find Leïla Bekhti, André Holland, Randy Kerber, Joanna Kulig, Liah O'Prey, Tahar Rahim and Amandla Stenberg. Scheduled for next year, the series tells the story of an owner of a Parisian jazz club.
