Cannes: Elle Fanning and Jorgos Lanthimos will also be members of the international jury
American actress Elle Fanning, Greek director Jorgos Lanthimos, director of "Favorite" and Oscar-winning Pawel Pawlikowski will also be members of the international jury led by Alejandro Inárritu at the upcoming Cannes Film Festival, The Hollywood Reporter said.
Kelly Reichardt, Director of One Women, Alice Rohrwacher of Italy, previously awarded Cannes for Wonders and the Sacred and the Wolves, will be in the jury for the Golden Palm Award, as well as French director Robin Campillo, years ago he won the Grand Jury Prize at the Cote d'Azur Festival.
The Cannes Mustra International Competition features, among others, a new film by Pedro Almodóvar, Ken Loach, Terrence Malik, Arnaud Desplechin and the Dardenne brothers. Jim Jarmusch's latest work, starring Tilda Swinton, Chloe Sevigny and Selena Gomez, is also in the competition and will be screened as the opening film of the festival.
The jury for the festival's Un certain regard program is led by Lebanese director Nadine Labaki, whose film Kafarnaum: The Way of Hope was also nominated for an Oscar this year. The jury of the short film program is directed by French director Claire Denis and the jury of the Critics' Week section is directed by Ciro Guerra, Colombian director.
