The five nominees were selected by experts from BBC Studios, National Geographic, and Viasat World, among others, and were only allowed to submit works that presented some completely innovative content in the television industry. Produced by Krisztina Máté producer, editor-in-chief Kriszta Hadas, and five-part programming by Anita Korn and Kira Kéky, the editor-in-chief processed 25 special stories from the period of Central and Eastern European change.
- We originally invented the show for the international market and asked for an emblematic, authentic and world-famous figure as a narrator like Emir Kusturica. I do not expect such awards and nominations, so I was very surprised and made us all happy. We worked on the series for a year and a half, we loved it, we loved it, it took off in the world and now it comes back like a boomerang. It is an honor for us to be thought of in such a serious competition, especially because we were not created in conditions much like Western Europeans, ”said Krisztina Hadas proudly to Bors.
The first part of the show will be re-aired by Spektrum on Saturday, August 17 at 10 o'clock, and the rest of the show will be open from 10 am on weekends.
