VIENNA - Last Monday, Edmund de Waal presided over a family reunion at an imposing Ephrussi palace. For the first time since World War II, 41 relatives from all over Europe, the United States and Mexico visited the neo-Renaissance buildings that had been home to the Ephrussi family, a European Jew whose property was once owned by the Rothschilds.
