New details on the Frauscher 1414 Demon, launched in Cannes
Attractive design and high performance are the main features of the Frauscher 1414 Demon Air, launched as a world premiere at the Cannes Motor Show. Expression of excellence of the historic Frauscher shipyard, it represents the evolution of the award-winning Demon 1414, of which over thirty specimens have been sold in two years.
The lines of the Frauscher 1414 Demon Air, again signed by Studio Kiska, summarize all the typical stylistic features of the brand: the straight and vertical bow, the bulwarks with the "Z-shaped" notch and the windshield without a frame. Thanks to the central and rear position of the wheelhouse, the Air variant offers more space and comfort than the previous Frauscher models. On the bow, in the bow, there is a comfortable lounge which is transformed into a sunbathing area, while behind the console there are: a mobile bar, an additional comfortable lounge, a large sundeck and a spacious swimming platform. In the cabin, whose access is adjacent to the console, there is a 195 cm high bathroom, complete with shower and toilet, and there are still four comfortable beds in two separate areas. Attributes that make 1414 Demon Air a boat of undeniable elegance but also incredibly versatile, ideal for both short-term excursions and short cruises.
There are mainly two characteristics that distinguish 1414 Demon AIR not only from the other Frauscher models, but also from the competition. The most popular is the T-top, made of carbon fiber and weighing only 150 kilos: "the parasol turns into a design object". A further distinctive element is the lateral air intakes, also made of carbon, a material that the yard uses strategically, exploiting its lightness and strength. In addition to sheltering from the sun and characterizing the aesthetic lay-out of the unit, the T-top houses the speakers for better on-board hi-fi acoustics, as well as the dimmable LED lighting system. Another valuable creation of the "Engineers of Emotion" is the electrified table that can be pulled out in the bow relaxation area. Unlike other boats, here the 4 square meter teak table can not only lower at the level of the seat cushions to create a sheltered sunbathing area, but it can also disappear completely in the cockpit floor, to maximize the sense of freedom in homage to the name "AIR".
With 1414 Demon Air, the Frauscher shipyard gave yet another proof of the experience accumulated over the company's 90 years of history. This is confirmed not only by the design of the yacht, but also by the quality of the craftsmanship and the materials used. Only in February 2018, Michael Frauscher, general manager responsible for production and development, collected the Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany for the 1414 Demon model on behalf of the shipyard.
1414 Demon Air is entirely produced, with all care, in the Frauscher plants in Ohlsdorf, Austria; here the company can offer customers a very high level of customization, starting with the color of the hull and the upholstery or the choice of engines, up to the materials used, the audio system or the on-board electronics. The Frauscher models are exclusively distributed in Italy by the Feltrinelli Shipyard, based in Gargnano, a renowned tourist center in the center of the western coast of Lake Garda.
Frauscher, general manager of the company and representative of the third generation at the helm of the company, commented: "With the 1414 Demon Air model we have created an offshore boat that combines the lively driving of a sports motorboat with the luxury of a yacht. a trip after work with friends, a family trip to go for a swim, a long weekend by the sea or a quick trip between two islands, 1414 Demon Air is perfect for any situation. at the level of customization, there is hardly any desire that we cannot turn into reality ".
