Simina Zidaru, Senior Copywriter at MullenLowe, is the only creative in Romania selected to participate in the 5th edition of See It Be It, the Cannes Lions career development and acceleration program for women in the communication industry.

The program was introduced by the prestigious Cannes Lions to identify and support female talent from around the world, giving them access to relevant content and renowned experts, helping them to become future creative leaders and bring change in this industry. In 2018, 20 promising women from around the world were selected to participate in this intensive program.

Simina has 6 years experience in the creative communication industry, signing some of the most appreciated campaigns in Romania and winning over 30 awards (Golden Hammer, SABER, Internetics, FIBRA Awards, Romanian PR Award, ADC * RO and many others). . Simina was 3 years Creative Associate at PR Golin Agency, before becoming Copywriter and then Senior Copywriter at MullenLowe. During this time, he worked for brands of companies such as Unilever (Cif, OMO), PepsiCo (Pepsi, Lipton), Mercedes-Benz, Lidl, Farmec (Gerovital), History Channel and others.

Simina is among the 20 applicants selected to travel to Cannes, where they will attend seminars, mentorship sessions and meetings with some of the most important leaders in the global creative communication industry. They will also be special guests of the Cannes Lions Festival, from June 18-25, having access to all the events within the festival, as well as in the backstage of the judging room, to find out more about the campaigns that are noteworthy this year.
