Ukraine receives Cannes Lions award for Eurovision design

Ukrainian agencies and Republique received the bronze award of the Cannes Lions international festival of creativity in the Desing Lions category for branding the Eurovision 2017 song contest.

"This is a very joyful feeling. Just a delight. This is a very important project for us. We put a lot of effort into it and love it very much. In the process, many people joined forces to make it, and I'm glad that they all received a well-deserved reward for their talents. Ukrainian creative has long deserved Lviv, but it’s just unlucky. And now I hope that every year we will win more and more. We deserve it. Because so many strong works are being done in Ukraine now that the jury Cannes and other world festivals cannot help but this etit "- said in comments co-founder Paul Vrzheshch.

Eurovision 2017 was watched by more than 180 million people, and broadcasts took place in 42 countries of the world. On the official YouTube channel of the song contest, in total, viewers from 223 countries watched 265 million hours of recording.

Recall that last year, Ukrainians received a bronze "Cannes Lion" thanks to the musical installation of Witness. Commemorative performance, dedicated to the tragedy in Babi Yar in 1941. The victory was won in the Entertainment music subcategory.
