Warsaw goes to & nbsp; Cannes with & nbsp; five plots, revitalization and & nbsp; start-ups
Development plans, investment potential, start-ups and creative gadgets of the project of local entrepreneurs - these are the elements that Warsaw will present at this year's MIPIM investment fair in Cannes. The capital will also present the city's offer, i.e. five investment plots.
Presentation plans at the MIPIM real estate fair taking place from 12 to 15 March in Cannes were presented on Wednesday at a press conference in the Warsaw Zodiac, the capital's president Rafał Trzaskowski and his deputy Michał Olszewski.
- We will talk about the potential of Warsaw, we will try to attract the largest number of investors here to our city. The city is extremely dynamic - he announced. Vice President Olszewski, in turn, pointed out that the Cannes fair is an opportunity to "attract capital that invests in the development of the city", but also "capital that builds jobs."
As Trzaskowski said, Warsaw is people. - Warsaw is a better and more interesting place to invest, not only because it has changed so much over the last 12 years in terms of infrastructure, but also because Warsaw's quality of life is improving, he said.
During the fair, the city will present, among others "Warsaw your place to invest" report, devoted to investment potential and the real estate market situation in the capital. The study was prepared by the city in cooperation with nine agencies. Another report, "Revitalisation - Brave New Warsaw", which can be seen at the Warsaw stand, concerns the revitalization activities of the city in Prague North and Prague South.
This year, the city's offer includes five investment plots: residential and service areas at ul. Powstańców Śląskich in Bemowo, plots at ul. Cieszyńska in Mokotów and the plot at ul. Dobra 36/38 for multi-family housing, a multi-functional property at ul. Mariańska 5 and the area at ul. Grzybowska 92 in Wola for the purpose of office and service buildings as well as residential and service buildings.
A presentation of Warsaw start-ups will also be present at the Warsaw stand. Trade fair participants will be able to get acquainted with the Whirla company, which has prepared a technology platform allowing communication with users staying in a space equipped with wireless charging. Entrepreneurs from the capital will also have the opportunity to present their products.
The fair in Cannes takes place for the 30th time, and with the participation of Warsaw - 21. Together with the city, 13 developers will present their offers: BBI Development, CMT Sp. z o.o., Ghelamco, Golub Gethouse, HB Reavis, Immobel Poland, Liebrecht & amp; wooD Poland, Mayland Real Estate, Modlin Sp. z o.o., OKAM Capital, Skanska Property Poland, Unibail Rodamco Westfield and Vastint.
MIPIM is the largest investment fair in Europe addressed to cities, regions, companies, investors, developers and trade newspapers.
