Reaffirming the success of the world's best-known gastronomic reality show, MasterChef won the 2019 Content Innovation Awards, which honors the most innovative content in global entertainment on Sunday (13) in Cannes, France. The program took the best in the Entertainment Format of the Year category.
Developed by Endemol Shine Group, MasterChef is considered the largest culinary television franchise in the world, according to Guinness World Records, airing in over 200 territories, assisted by over 300 million people worldwide and produced locally in more than 60 countries.
Here in Brazil the program has established itself as the Band's largest audience, even though the broadcaster having somewhat saturated the format is undeniable its success. To get an idea of the power of the show, on social networks MasterChef has over 34 million fans worldwide and over 4 billion digital platform playbacks.
